The Microsoft SharePoint Online Add-In Export to Word, developed by U2U, provides a better integration of Microsoft Word and Microsoft SharePoint Online. Export to Word increases users’ productivity by automating the creation of Word documents based on data stored in SharePoint. Export to Word will take your Word document, and injects data coming from SharePoint list.
The creation of Word documents containing data stored in SharePoint lists is not a trivial task in SharePoint Online. Export to Word allows you to associate your Word templates with existing SharePoint lists and to map SharePoint columns to different locations within your Word document.
CAML (Collaborative Application Markup Language) is an XML-based query language that helps you querying lists and libraries in SharePoint. These desktop application has been developed to ease the work of a SharePoint on-prem and SharePoint Online developer. These tools will help you create and test your CAML Queries. This edition of the tools uses the Client Side Object Model to connect to any remote SharePoint on-Prem or SharePoint online environment. The following prerequisites are required: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 (x86 and x64) The original CAML Query builder dates from before the existence of SharePoint Online. It was adapted for also working with SharePoint online, but was not able to handle multi-factor authentication. Therefore a new version was created that allows multi-factor authentication. We now have two versions of the CAML Query builder. If you want to use the tool with SharePoint On-prem you should use the on-prem version. It also works with online, when you are not using MFA. If you are using SharePoint online with MFA, use the online version, which also works without MFA.
This feature has been developed to ease the work of a SharePoint 2010 developer. It extends the ribbon of your lists and libraries to allow you to generate caml queries. The caml query itself is stored in a list from where you can continue your work. CAML (Collaborative Application Markup Language) is an XML-based query language that helps you queryinglists and libraries in SharePoint 2010. This tool will help you build your CAML Queries. Open the list or document library for which you want to build a CAML query. In the ribbon you will find the button to start building CAML queries.
Analysis Services Documenter (SqlASDoc for short) is a tool which creates documentation for your Analysis Services databases. It connects to your live server, and queries the metadata for the name and description which the developers attached to every object (database, cube, dimension, hierarchy, attribute, translation, data source, data source view,...). It then produces an HTML file which contains the name and description of all these objects. But there is more: also other properties, such as last processing time, creation time, sizes of fact tables etc. are written to the HTML file.
It's a clickonce application, so the download will automatically install the tool. The tool also regularly checks for updates. Currently, the tool is available for free.
